Saturday afternoon, I took Uber to pick up my car from the night before and rode in the back seat of one of these:
Even with the CVT, it’s bad just not as bad as you think it is. Doesn’t like to track in a straight line unfortunately.
Too bad the manager of my local Rallys/Checkers isn’t as smart. As you know, they have dual drive thru lanes. 2 weeks ago, the lane that you would get your food thru the passenger window was out, with only a hand written note on the speaker box. Saturday no note. Still out of order. You would think they would just block the lane!*
As I was leaving, I was screaming out the window “I HATE STUPID PEOPLE!!!”.

I just started driving for Uber, somehow I snuck in my Volvo C70 even though they state they don’t allow 2-doors. If I were a passenger I’d rather climb into the back of a convertible (I usually have the top down) than ride in a Mirage haha.

I was just wondering about you!
Not in a creepy way. Just wanted to know how your C70 is

Doing awesome. She’s just about to hit 60k miles. Trouble free thus far 6 months in.

That’s hilarious. I feel like someday if/when I get rich I’d love to get like a P1800ES or something and register it on Uber as a Volvo V90 or other. Then use it to pick up fares and fuck up the system until I get caught.

You don’t actually tell them what car you drive, you have to send them a photo of your registration, which makes it all the more entertaining to me that they let me drive my C70. I think they put it in the system as an XC70 even though the registration clearly says 2door.

Well that still opens up the possibility of sending the registration for a second car while showing up in something else...they probably won't like it when they find out, but they're mostly fun-hating assholes anyway.

Hey, that reminds me...now we have three pillars of the P1 line fulfilled, all we’re lacking is an S40 owner now...
